Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Inara website, mobile applications, and related services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms become effective when posted. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

3. Description of Services

Inara is a mobile application that offers messaging-based readings, astrology insights, journaling, and related reflective tools. Sessions are delivered through chat-style messaging, with optional voice and audio features.

4. Eligibility

The Service is intended for users aged 18 and older, except where local law sets a higher minimum age. You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

5. License and Access

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

6. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

7. Subscriptions, Credits, and In-App Purchases

The Service may offer auto-renewing subscriptions, credit packs, free trials, and other purchases. Subscriptions automatically renew at the price and interval shown at purchase unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings. Credits are non-refundable digital items and have no cash value.

8. Payment and Billing

All purchases are processed by Apple through your App Store account. Pricing, billing currency, and applicable taxes are determined by Apple and your region.

9. Refund Policy

All purchases are final. Refunds, where available, are handled by Apple in accordance with the App Store’s policies. We are not able to issue refunds directly.

10. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, harassing, or abusive purpose.
Upload malware, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or interfere with the Service.
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except as permitted by law.
Use the Service to impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity.
Resell or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission.

11. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of content you submit through the Service (“User Content”). You grant Inara a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, and use User Content as necessary to operate, secure, and improve the Service. You represent that you have all rights necessary to grant this license.

12. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all software, text, graphics, logos, and other materials (excluding User Content), is owned by Inara or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

13. No Professional Advice

The Service is provided for personal reflection and entertainment. It is not a substitute for professional medical, mental health, legal, financial, or other advice. Some responses in the Service may be generated or assisted by automated systems and may be inaccurate. If you are in crisis or need urgent help, contact a qualified professional or your local emergency services.

14. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy , which is incorporated by reference into these Terms.

15. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Inara and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD 50.

17. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Inara harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or related to your use of the Service or breach of these Terms.

18. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, Inara, or third parties. Upon termination, all rights granted to you under these Terms cease.

19. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul (Çağlayan) shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.

20. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.

21. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any in-product purchase or subscription terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and Inara regarding the Service.
