This Privacy Policy explains how Inara (“Inara”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website at myinara.app and our mobile application (collectively, the “Service”).

- Account information: name or display name, email address, date and time of birth (used to compute astrological context), and optional location of birth.
- Content you create: questions, messages, journal notes, and other content you submit through the Service.
- Purchase information: subscription status, credit balance, and transaction identifiers (processed by Apple, not by us).
- Device and usage data: device model, operating system, language, time zone, IP address, crash logs, and interaction events.
- Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 3).
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and personalize the Service.
- Process subscriptions, credits, and other purchases.
- Communicate with you about your account, updates, and support requests.
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security incidents.

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know, the right to delete, the right to correct, and the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined.
11. International Users and Data Transfers
Inara is operated from Türkiye. If you access the Service from outside Türkiye, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in Türkiye or other countries that may have data protection rules different from those in your country.

We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Effective” date above indicates when it was last revised. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email where appropriate.
